Did you know...

... that today is Mountain out of a Molehill Day? In 1943, a
crack appeared in a cornfield in central western Mexico.
Within a week, the crack turned into a mound of earth, then a
450-foot hill, and finally a 1200-foot volcano, eventually
covering a 10 square mile area. The volcano of Paricutin now
holds the distinction of being the only volcano on the planet
born in modern times.
